Thank You All

Thank you to everyone for checking back after the summer. We see some of you have been busy with photography projects over the summer and continue your creativity. 

Today, sadly we are here to say goodbye. Hsms (Hs) has run for over 2.5 years. People have enthusiastically played along and contributed. We know from our stats counter that the number of people who play along are only a fraction of the people who actually check out our photographs as part of their daily routine, the daily numbers run into the hundreds. 

We can say with great confidence that HSMSHS has been popular! But, all good things must come to an end.

We are just three people, we have jobs, families, lives. For the last 2.5 years we have manage to balance everything in order to consistently and reliably produce a photograph for the blog each and every day, without fail. But we have come to a point in our own lives where a change is needed. We took the summer to think about our decision so as not to rush into anything.

So, for now it is goodbye. But who knows, we might pop back up at some point with more creativity and inspiration. The 3 of us will continue our photographic journeys privately and our strong friendship will support each other in that path.

We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who participated in HSMSHS for however long. Some people contributed for just a few days and others have been with us since the beginning. We had people join from our home towns and all around the world. We have drawn so much inspiration from you who play along. We've had meet-ups and made new friends through this wonderful project.

We will leave this blog live so that people can return and still check out the photographs if they wish.

For all three of us this was a tough decision, and in many ways sad, but this will free us up to pursue other creative ventures in the future. We hope you all understand.

Oh dear!! this is so sad. I had been so looking forward to starting again. I loved the daily challenge & it gets me motivated to get my camera out most days. It has been fun & I have loved joining in. I am so grateful to you for the friendships I have made along the way as well. Thankyou for everything. Thank you for giving me the oppotunity to play along, you've given me a hobby that I love and that will stay with me for the rest of my life.

This is sad. HSMSHS came into my life at a time when I really needed something due to ill health. It gave me a purpose to my day which led to a thirst for taking photographs. I would like to thank you all for that,it has been great fun and it also gave me the opportunity to meet some really lovely people. Take care everyone

I'm sad. I understand and respect your decision, though I will miss hsmshs SO much!!! I've met some awesome people here and have been much inspired by their photographs. Thank you for the inspiration you've all given. Don't quite know what to say...
