Wat doe je als je 16 bent en eindelijk je beugel eruit mag? Dat vier je met een fotosessie om de nieuwe glimlach te laten zien. En hoe haal je een teenage-knul over om een paar foto's van hem te laten maken? Door hem te overtuigen dat hij wat nieuwe 'coole' foto's nodig heeft voor zijn zijn sociale netwerk sites! En als Pa dan toevallig ook een mooie foto krijgt voor zijn foto-muur... dan is iedereen blij!

What do you do when at age 16 you finally get your braces removed? Celebrate with a photoshoot of course, to show off that new smile! And how do you persuade a teenage boy to have his photos taken? By convincing him he needs some 'cool' new photos for his social networking sites! And, if Dad just happens to get a nice photo for his office wall...then, everyone is happy!

Little did this couple know when they booked an engagement session at the beginning of March that the day would turn out to be the first sunny day of the year. I love it when a couple come to me for a session and are so open to my ideas. This results in a fun day for everyone and beautiful photographs!

We gave the day a vintage theme, and this is their 'Vintage Love Story'....

It's a classic love story of boy meets girl....

 
the Story began with a chance meeting...

She played things shy, but he matched her at every turn....

until eventually he cracked her steely exterior.

He melted her heart with a picnic....

and a mandolin serenade.

He tried to impress her .....

but she impressed him with her hidden talents.

Eventually, she gave in to his charms....

 and she was rewarded with a kiss.

Cue credits!

Het Verhaal van een Hoed

Toen deze dame voor haar fotosessie kwam opdagen in deze prachtige gebreide jurk, wist ik meteen dat ik de hoed had die een prachtige aanvulling zou zijn op deze outfit. Mijn client hield echter vol dat hoeden haar niet stonden. Na enige overreding mijnerzijds probeerde ze de hoed toch op .. en wie had er nu gelijk!?! Zie ze niet oogverblindend uit?! Haar familie denkt er net zo over en ze is nu op jacht naar een hoed net als deze!

 

 

When I saw this lady turn up for her photo shoot in this beautiful tweed knitted dress, I knew instantly that I had a hat that would compliment it perfectly. My client however insisted she did not suit hats. After a little convincing, she tried on the hat.. and how right I was!?! Doesn't she look stunning?! Her family think so too and she is now on a mission to try and find a hat just like it!
